Those men wishing to take the Presbytery of the Midwest Hebrew exam should contact the presbytery's Hebrew examiner, the Rev. Dr. Dennis Disselkoen. He will assign an Old Testament passage and give specific instructions. Generally, what is required is a very wooden translation of the passage (the importance of this step cannot be over-emphasized), together with the complete parsing of every word. The Hebrew exam is an open-book exam; you may use any language helps except an interlinear translation. When you are finished, send the completed exam back to the presbytery's Hebrew examiner for grading at least one month before presbytery meets.
